Division 1 & 2 Spring Promenade

Voyageurs,

Yes! On Saturday April 25, 2009, it will be time once again for the Division 1 and 2 Spring Promenade. This year Division 1 Chef de Train, Jose Santana of Voiture 1538 will be hosting the promenade. It will be at the American Legion Post 11.

Registration will start at 9AM with a fee of $15.00 per person. The promenade will start at 10:30 with a meal served later.

Remember the Spring Promenade is when the elections for the next year will be conducted.

As the Division 1 Chef de Train, I would like for all of the voitures in Division 1 and 2 to be represented at this promenade. I would also like to see as many voyageurs as possible present to support our great divisions and the Grand Chef de Gare and La Societe.

There will be a white collar wreck conducted. If you have PG’s, plan to bring them with you.

If you need directions to Post 11, Please contact me as soon as possible.

For those of you that would like to come in Friday night, please let me know so we may meet you at the legion and swap stories.

 There are two motels near the post, Southern Belle Motel (919) 658-9404, and Sleep Inn (919) 658-1002 both located in Mt Olive (about 9 miles away) and both are priced nice.
